- As a consumer, where can I purchase Sterilite products?
- Sterilite products are available at leading retailers nationwide. The availability of certain products at particular retailers changes throughout the year, so it is difficult for us to advise you where to find a particular product at a particular time. - What should I do if I have a problem or a question regarding Sterilite products that I've purchased?
- We value your business and want to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your Sterilite products. Please e-mail any product-related questions or comments using our Contact Us menu option and we will respond promptly. If you are requesting replacements please furnish the product item number, which is located on the bottom of each of our items. In addition, we need the product color, the reason for your request, and your complete street address to ensure proper shipping. (We do not ship parts to P.O. Boxes.) Sterilite Corporation may request a proof of purchase before sending a product replacement. We do not offer product coupons or monetary reimbursement. A replacement and shipping charge may be assessed.

- How do I remove the product label?
- If you experience difficulty removing one of our labels, use a non-acetone nail polish remover, olive oil, cooking oil, "Goo-Gone" or a small amount of WD-40.

- Where do I address questions regarding my new Sterilite storage cabinet(s)?
- Thank you for your recent purchase of our storage cabinet. If you have any questions regarding assembly of your cabinet or if you have any damaged or missing parts, please contact us immediately at our address below or e-mail us.
Please provide the following information:
- Product item (number which is located on the bottom of the item)
- Reason for your request
- Your address and Phone # (We do not ship parts to P.O. boxes.)
- Proof of purchase
We do not offer product coupons or monetary reimbursement. A replacement and shipping charge may be assessed. Cabinet instructions are provided below for reference.

- Does Sterilite accept product ideas from outside inventors?
- Sterilite is always willing to view new product ideas from outside inventors as we welcome your interest in our company. In an effort to prevent misunderstandings and protect your interest as well as our own, we can only consider ideas and inventions if you accept and return a copy of the "Idea Submission Form" You can obtain a copy by downloading the document below.

- Are your food containers dishwasher safe?

Our foodware products are top-rack dishwasher, freezer, and microwave (reheat only) safe.
Dishwasher: We use a special type of plastic in our Ultra Food Storage containers that allow them to be bottom rack safe as well, however, we don't recommend this because some dishwashers have extremely high water temperatures that could warp the lids.
Microwave: As with any container with a lid, the lid should be loosened before reheating food in the microwave.

- How are Sterilite products made?
- Virtually all of our items are made by a process called injection molding. We melt plastic and inject it into a mold. After the plastic cools and becomes solid, we take the part out of the mold, cool it and pack it. Here is the process in a bit more detail...
