Home Office Townsend, MA Manufacturing Systems Support Tech Sterilite Corporation is looking for a professional individual with a technical degree or 2 3 years of technical support experience to join our I.S. team. The ideal candidate must have great interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service attitude and strong problem solving skills. Written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent organization and documentation skills are a must.
This position will serve as the first point of contact for all technical support issues relating to our manufacturing operations. Primary responsibilities include answering support calls, troubleshooting manufacturing applications and systems, configuring and deploying mobile computing devices and barcode scanners.

Experience - Windows 2000, XP
- Server 2000, 2003
- Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- Desktops, laptops and printers
- Experience with barcode scanners and warehouse systems are a plus
- Manufacturing and warehousing processes
- Relational databases
- Wireless networks
Duties: - Answer manufacturing related support requests
- Respond to help desk tickets and e-mail requests for support
- Escalating and routing unanswered trouble tickets
- Follow up on resolved support issues
- Route issues to other I.S. team members
- Install and maintain computer systems in a manufacturing environment
- Support on-site and remote users with general hardware and software issues
- Research and resolve hardware and software problems with other I.S. staff using Internet help sites, forums and outside vendors
- Provide user technical training and assistance on application software as needed
- Frequent work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- This position will be on-call for off-hours support on a rotating schedule
- Some travel may be required
